See ya at the Cornerstone
Every first Saturday of the month the Open Mic & Artist Showcase happens at Faire Gallery & Café on E. Olive St. in Capitol Hill.
It involves spoken word, freestyle cyphers, artist showcases, a DJ, and a live band. The Cornerstone’s core is based around Hip Hop music but is open to any and all forms of musical and spoken art. Artists of varied genres, skill levels, and backgrounds come together and share an intimate space to celebrate and encourage innovation, individuality, and creativity. And they really do practice what they preach.
