The Blue Angels were in the sky during Seafair weekend, but the bboys were on the ground, getting down - “Doing It In The Park.”

The bboys teamed up with Wyking and UmojaFest to coordinate the free breakdancing competition at the African American Festival/Northwest Hip Hop Fest on Saturday at Judkins Park. 

As usual, it was fun, goofy times with a mix of old and new faces. Even though the video below was the promo vid, it explains better than I could in words right now what they were trying to do by bringing the breakdancng and Umoja Fest together. 

I’ve seen both sides doing some major networking out there in the hip hop community over the last last, so you know I was all about it on Saturday. Feel asleep on Tim Uomoto’s roof. Thanks for hosting the after party/BBQ!
