PDA, a “Patient Direct Access” bi-monthly magazine, had their launch party at Fred Wildlife Refuge over the weekend on 4/20. The magazine is not only focused on a unique voice related to medical cannabis culture but design. The content is hyper-local, with a strong blend of medical and science-based news, humorous entertainment and a design flair that harkens back to the 1940s (Bauhaus to Blue Note). The night included music from local acts and a variety of art installations by the works of Jessie Brown, Derek Erdman, Pun(c)tuation, and 4E Factory. The night’s theme, “World of Tomorrow” was a tribute to Seattle and the 1962 World’s Fair which, “Made our far-flung logging town the city of the future.”

PDA Magazine is a project of 4Evergreen Group, a medical cannabis servicing company that has a strong following. If you know the guys behind 4Evergreen Group, you know that things didn’t just happen over night. With some hustle, in just two years, they went from a few small shops to a mainstream operation. This is just the beginning for them, as well as the larger medicinal marijuana community in the NW that is either trying to define or create the “green” lifestyle.
