Nu Era came out with their video for “Nu Tang Ft. Kung Foo Grip (Eff Is H & Greg Cypher)” over the weekend and people have been learning about the #NuTangClan which is all about making moves; like-minded artists and promoters who come together to make stuff happen in this city. “Nu Tang” is the group’s first video off of their debut album Sink or Swim.

The members of Nu Era come from various camps: Turtle T, Andrew Savoie (formerly Dyno Jamz) 5 Flat, Chiefs, DJ Rise, and Chimaroke Abuachi (Theoretics).

The video was produced by Detooz Films, another group on their grind, just looking to produce some great work. 

I still haven’t asked what “Nu Era” means but just by seeing these guys around town, I can already guess. And if that means these are the new kids running the show around here, I’m okay with that.
